These terms explain what you get when you buy Desktop Plan Pro, how your licence works, and what happens if you change your mind.
Who you are buying from
Desktop Plan is a product of Essential Plugins LLC, Wyoming, USA. Orders are taken at shop.desktopplan.com. Card payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal payments by PayPal. Your card statement shows DESKTOP PLAN.
What you are buying
Desktop Plan Pro is a licence for the Desktop Plan software for Windows and Mac. It costs a single payment, shown in US dollars at checkout. There is no subscription and nothing renews by itself. Your bank may add its own fee if it converts the payment from US dollars.
The free version of Desktop Plan stays free. You can use it for as long as you like before deciding to buy.
Your licence
One licence is for one person. That person can use Desktop Plan Pro on up to 3 of their own computers at a time.
Each user account on a Windows PC or a Mac counts as one computer, and the 3 can be any mix of the two. If two people share a computer, each of them needs their own licence.
Moved to a new computer? Remove the old one on the My activations page, then activate on the new one.
You may not share, resell or rent your licence key, or try to get around the licence check.

Delivery
Your licence key appears on the order page as soon as your payment goes through, and we email it to you. You download Desktop Plan from desktopplan.com and enter the key in the app to switch Pro on.
New versions
Your licence includes every new version of Desktop Plan released in the 12 months after you buy. Each of those versions keeps working as Pro for as long as you use it.
After 12 months, Desktop Plan Pro keeps working. If you want the versions released after that, you can buy 12 more months of new versions for the price shown in the app and at checkout. If your 12 months have not run out yet, the new 12 months start from the end of your current ones.
Refunds
Desktop Plan Pro comes with a 15-day money-back guarantee. Ask within 15 days of buying and we refund the full price. No reasons needed. When we refund an order, its licence key is switched off and Desktop Plan goes back to the free version. Your plans are not deleted. See the Desktop Plan refund policy for how to ask.
If a payment is reversed or disputed with your bank, the licence key for that order is switched off. Please talk to us first. Most problems are sorted out the same day.
Warranty and responsibility
We work hard to make Desktop Plan reliable, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or suit every purpose. Keep copies of plans that matter.
As far as the law allows, Desktop Plan is provided as it is, and our total responsibility for any claim about a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost data.
Your rights under consumer law
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here when you buy is the one that applies to your order.
